A Community of Compassion: Honoring the Tzu Chi Foundation and Our Faith-Based Partners
At Turning Point, we know recovery is strengthened through compassion, connection, and community. We are deeply grateful for the dedicated partners who support our residents on their journey toward healing and reintegration, and we are honored to highlight the generosity of the Tzu Chi Foundation.
Members of the Tzu Chi Foundation recently volunteered to donate healthy staple food items to Turning Point. These contributions support not only physical wellness, but also dignity and stability—essential elements in the recovery process.
In addition to their generosity, members of the Tzu Chi Foundation joined volunteers from various faith-based organizations who regularly offer spiritual support and encouragement to our residents. These ongoing visits help foster a sense of belonging and community, reminding residents they are not alone as they prepare for life beyond our program.
During their first visit, members of the Tzu Chi Foundation spoke with residents about gratitude, contentment, mindfulness, and kindness—values that strongly align with recovery and personal growth. Turning Point is sincerely thankful for the continued involvement of community stakeholders, faith-based groups, organizations, and individuals who volunteer their time each week to uplift and support our residents.
A quote commonly attributed to the Buddha beautifully reflects these shared values:
“Health is the greatest gift, contentment is the greatest wealth, a trusted friend is the best relative, and a liberated mind is the greatest bliss.”
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Tzu Chi Foundation and all our community partners for helping make recovery at Turning Point a truly community-centered journey.
